Tenuta la Novella · Tuscany

Hello wine-lovers,

This Wine Night Stand takes us to Tuscany to visit Simone who is making wines in Greve in Chianti.

We will try 2 orange/white and 4 different reds. The reds go from lighter style wines on Syrah to heavier on Sangiovese. The white is made both on blanc de noir Sangiovese and white grapes. The orange is pure macerated Viognier.

The tasting takes place Thursday the 23rd of February, starts around 18h and costs 300,- pr. person. It lasts around 1 hour to 1,5 hours.

Tenuta la Novella is located in the heart of Tuscany, between Florence and Siena, at an altitude of 500 meters. The estate produces its own olive oil, Chianti Classico and IGT wine, and Vin Santo, according to the strict standards of organic and biodynamic agriculture, without pesticides or synthetic fertilisers. They believe that the land worked is their sole custody and it is therefore their responsibility to pass it on to future generations as it was passed on to them, avoiding any practices that could make it less fertile.
