2022, Bourgogne Aligoté

Maison en Belles Lies produces Aligoté according to the very same principles as their red wines: biodynamic farming, hand-harvesting, spontaneous fermentation, and no fining or filtration. The wine undergoes a calm élevage in used barrels or tanks, depending on the vintage, and is bottled with minimal or no added sulfur. It is an Aligoté in which the estate’s ideal of “pure, undisturbed wines” is central — an honest expression of the grape and the terroir of the Côte de Beaune.
