We invite you to a Piedmont wine tasting at Vintro Nørrebro (Copenhagen).

Piedmont is much more than Barolo and Nebbiolo, although we love Nebbiolo too. However, in this tasting we will delve into the diversity of the region – from the cool hills of Langhe to the sunny slopes of Monferrato.

We start with a fresh white wine, a minerally but flavorful Cortese from La Morella. Then we explore Guido Zampaglione's orange wines and try his Sauvignon Blanc with 60 days of maceration.

Among the reds we start with a juicy Barbera from Carrusin and tell a little about their fantastic project and love for Piedmont's old donkey tradition. We continue with the wild and vibrant Freisa, Piedmont's forgotten and hidden grape with fine tannins. Finally we end with Piedmont's jewel of the king grape Nebbiolo from beautiful Borgogno Rivata with their modern and fresh style.

The tasting starts between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM, lasts approximately 1.5 hours and costs 300 DKK per person.

There will also be a 20% discount on all the wines you taste on the evening. So come and taste 5 different wines that would easily have cost twice as much to taste in a restaurant.

We keep it informal but educational, and of course there is time for all your questions. We serve each group individually, so don't stress if you're a little late - it's just your friends waiting for you.
