17.12.26 · Bubble Trouble
Sparkling wine just does something to an evening. There is a pop, the glasses get filled, and suddenly the mood is a little better than it was five minutes ago.
For this tasting, we are going all the way around the world of bubbles, from the wild, juicy and slightly unruly to the classic, elegant and precise.
We start with méthode ancestrale, the old way of making sparkling wine, where the fermentation finishes in the bottle. Here we will taste Pét-Nat and Ancestrale in different colours and styles, white, rosé and/or orange, all with plenty of life, freshness and personality.
Then we change direction and move on to méthode traditionnelle. Here the bubbles spend more time in the bottle, gain a little more structure and often a bit more seriousness too. We will taste both Crémant and Champagne and look at what happens when terroir, ageing and time are allowed to play a bigger role.
In short, an evening with bubbles in all their forms. From funky and unfiltered to fine and festive.
If you think life generally gets a little better with bubbles in the glass, then this tasting is probably for you.
We hope to see you!
The tasting starts between 5:00 and 5:30 pm and lasts around 1.5 hours from there. The price is DKK 350 per person.
On the evening, you will also get 20% off all the wines we taste. That means you get the chance to try 5 different wines that could easily have cost more than twice as much in a restaurant.
