Dear wine friend,

Beaujolais is much more than light, fruity everyday wines. In this tasting, we dive into the region and show just how nuanced and serious Beaujolais can be – from the softer wines of the south to the more structured and age-worthy Crus in the north.

We’ll taste 5 wines in total: 1–2 whites and 3–4 reds, giving you a broad insight into grapes, terroir, and style. Along the way, we move from southern Beaujolais to a selection of the northern Crus, such as Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly, Chénas and Morgon – and depending on what tastes best on the day, perhaps also Moulin-à-Vent.

You’ll experience how the Gamay grape can range from juicy and light to deep, spicy, and complex – and why Beaujolais today is one of the most exciting regions for both natural and classic wine.

The tasting starts between 17:00 and 17:30, lasts about 1.5 hours, and costs 300 DKK per person.

We keep things informal yet informative – and there’s plenty of time for questions. Each group is served individually, so no stress if you arrive a bit late – it’s only your friends who are waiting for you ;)
