2023, Osigo, Brut Nature, Vini Massimo Coletti
This wine is made from Glera, Verdiso and Boschera grown in the single vineyard of Osigo. Col Fondo spumante is a sparkling wine where the fermentation finishes in the bottle, often leaving a little sediment behind. This gives a fresh, fruity and slightly cloudy wine. The soils are limestone-rich, and the vines grow at 360 metres above sea level. The wine has extended lees contact — meaning prolonged contact with the yeast — and no dosage, resulting in a dry, lively and more complex sparkling wine.
2024, Langhe Rosso, Borgogno Rivata
This wine is made from the little-known and rather rare Pelaverga grape, of which only around 55 hectares exist worldwide. The grape has historical roots going back several hundred years and is mentioned in local sources as early as the 18th century. For many years, Pelaverga came close to disappearing, but in recent decades a handful of producers have brought the grape back to life. This wine is light, fruity and easy-drinking — a perfect summer red.
2022, Hurrup Blanc, Domaine Etxondoa
This wine comes from one of France’s most distinctive wine regions, Irouléguy: a small Basque appellation at the foot of the Pyrenees, close to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, where steep vineyards and mountain air give the wines a character all of their own. At Domaine Etxondoa, Olivier Pouchoulou works with local white grapes such as Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng, Camaralet and Lauzet — varieties that bring aromatic depth, fresh acidity and a strong Basque identity to the wine. The grapes are hand-harvested, the wine is aged in old oak, and it is made in a clean, low-intervention style.
