Jakot is Radikon's iconic orange wine made from Friulano, formerly known as Tocai Friulano, but the name was changed to “Jakot” after the EU banned the use of Tokaj/Tocai outside Hungary. The wine comes from Oslavia in Friuli, where the Radikon family has been among the leading pioneers of extended skin contact for white grapes. This is the classic Radikon style: extended maceration, many years of barrel aging, and an uncompromising expression with no filtration or sulfur added at bottling.
