2017, LBV

Quinta do Crasto is one of the oldest quintas in the Douro Valley, and their LBV follows the house's traditional approach: foot-trampling in lagares, slow fermentation and aging in large barrels before bottling the wine unfiltered to preserve structure and development potential. 2017 is one of the strongest vintages in recent Douro history, and Crasto chose to let their LBV show both the power of the vintage and the classic Crasto style, where the focus is on grape material and craftsmanship rather than cosmetic interventions.
