2021, Maranges 1. Cru

This Maranges 1er Cru is the result of the producer’s uncompromising biodynamic approach: the grapes are hand-harvested, whole clusters ferment spontaneously with native yeasts, and the wine is aged in used barrels without fining, filtration, or added sulfur. At Maison en Belles Lies, long fermentations and slow élevage are central principles — a philosophy that honours the soil and the grapes’ intrinsic character. The result is an “authentic” Burgundy from Maranges with a clear and expressive sense of terroir.
