2023, Langhe Nebbiolo

When Francesco took over his family’s old parcel in the northern Langhe, he discovered a few nearly forgotten rows of Nebbiolo that his grandfather had planted “to have something good for the winter.” The vines stood high, cool, and exposed to the wind — not an obvious site for production, but a perfect one for character. Today, it is precisely this small, resilient vineyard that forms the basis of this 2023 Langhe Nebbiolo, and Francesco allows it to remain exactly as it is: stony, steep, and entirely its own.
