2023, Versante Nord Rosso

On the north side of Etna, Eduardo Torres Acosta works with old, mixed plantings on volcanic soil — one of Sicily's most vibrant and sought-after terroirs. Versante Nord Rosso 2023 is built around Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, the classic red Etna grapes, which give a wine with light color, perfume, red fruit, herbs and lean volcanic structure. Eduardo originally comes from Tenerife and brings a strong sense for mountain wine, old vines and low intervention with him to Sicily.
