2025, Versante Nord Bianco

On the north side of Etna, Eduardo Torres Acosta works with old, mixed white vineyards planted in volcanic soil—one of Sicily’s most distinctive terroirs. Versante Nord Bianco 2025 comes from six different contrade around the volcano, where grapes such as Minella, Catarratto, Grecanico, Carricante, and Inzolia produce a white wine with saline minerality, citrus, herbs, and cool mountain energy. Originally from Tenerife, Eduardo has a particular understanding of volcanic wine, old vines, and low-intervention winemaking.
