2022, Pouilly-Fuissé, La Croix

La Croix reflects the Denogent family’s patient, craftsmanship-driven approach in the Mâconnais. The vineyard takes its name from an old roadside cross — once a local meeting point — that still anchors the identity of the area. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation and an unusually long ageing of around 30 months in used barriques, a Denogent signature that yields a pure, precise Chardonnay made without intervention and without haste.
