2024, Doad - Ribeira Sacra Envínate

Doad comes from Doade in Amandi, one of Ribeira Sacra's most intense zones, where steep slate slopes fall dramatically down to the Sil River. Here, Envínate Mencía shows its darker, more powerful and stony side than in Viñas de Aldea. The wine still has Galicia's cool, Atlantic freshness, but Doade gives more depth, dark fruit, herbs and structure. A biodynamically grown low-intervention red wine from Ribeira Sacra, where old vines, slate soil and craftsmanship give a precise and lively picture of Northwest Spain's mountain wine.
