Les Sardines is the Denogent family’s unpretentious Mâcon-Villages — a wine created to be as sociable and approachable as its name suggests. At Denogent, all wines ferment spontaneously and mature for an extended period sur lie, and this cuvée is no exception, undergoing a gentle élevage in both used barrels and tank. It reflects the domaine’s down-to-earth style: natural work in the vineyards, hand-harvesting, and minimal intervention in the cellar.
